Amalgamation

On April 7th a Special Meeting of Members was held at the Mildmay-Carrick Community Centre to vote upon an amalgamation between North Wellington Co-operative Services Inc. and Huron Bay Co-operative Inc.

The vote was approved by both memberships.

What Will It Look Like?

Board of Directors (Min 9 – Max 12)

  • We are starting with 10 Directors
  • Each Co-operative appoints 5 Directors to get started (see list in the amalgamation agreement)
  • Terms: Maximum of 4 terms x3 years (Maximum: 12 consecutive years)
  • Elected at large at Co-op Annual Meeting 
  • Effective date: September 1, 2022
  • Fiscal Year: end of August
  • Head Office: Teeswater
  • Auditor: BDO
  • General Manager: Kelly Boyle

  • 16 locations 
  • 170 rolling stock (trucks, sprayers, applicators)
  • 4 fertilizer sites (11,700 tonnes of storage)
  • Energy: 100% owned
